I don't know about you, but there isn't usually a lot of cash sitting around in school districts which is why collaborating with people globally hasn't always been a common topic historically. However, becoming a global classroom now really interests me. Technology is going to assist me in bringing lots of different resources streaming into my classroom. We could Skype with a non-profit organization based in India, watch a live dolphin show happening at Sea World, or watch another class in Brazil give a presentation about the same book we had been reading. There are endless possibilities.

Becoming a world citizen? It's on my radar.

When digging into the personalization of technology in a class, I came across Khan Academy which implements a software that explores inquiry, mastery-based learning, and personally-paced content.

Becoming self-responsible in learning? It's on my radar.

Then, seeing a SMART board ad, I was intrigued. Let's not just replace the old with the new, but instead, let's transform the possibilities of the old and create opportunities for the new. Technology is here to make an improved model of the education system as we continue to revolutionize.

Becoming transformable? It's on my radar.
